Avenger Flight Group (AFG) is a company in the commercial aviation simulation and training business, supported by a solid financial structure and deep industry experience
Jochen Timm, the director of DHL’s flight crew training program, spoke with us. He described how handy it is for their airline’s training sessions to be held at AFG Madrid.
“DHL-EAT is pleased to collaborate with AFG because both the A330 FFS and the training center are cutting-edge. Additionally, the location and its surroundings are accessible and quite convenient for us. Last but not least, we would want to express our gratitude and satisfaction to the operator who constantly makes an effort to meet our requirements while being polite and very customer-focused.”
If you ask him what he likes most about working with us, he doesn’t hesitate:
“AFG’s staff are kind, approachable, and very competent. This makes a significant contribution to the successful training of our A330 flight crew in accordance with both our demands and regulatory standards. Additionally, because of the training center’s proximity to the airport and its location, DHL-EAT is not dependent on commercial aircraft. We benefit from AFG’s clear focus on their clients’ needs and ability to adjust once they have been established.”
We consider it an honor to have DHL-EAT here with us, and will keep working hard to provide the finest service possible.

It is well-known that Avenger Flight Group appreciates local communities, strategically implementing Training Centers in several countries where it sees fit.
However, the impact of our multicultural work environment goes further.
- The combination of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds in our workplace provide a wide range of viewpoints that help us generate different ways of tackling challenges.
- Our diverse environment provides our customers with the luxury of talking to someone who speaks their native tongue which allows employees to respond effectively and efficiently to their particular needs.
- Finally, this multicultural diversity motivates the development of new skills: fostering tolerance and empathy, helping us to become more productive professionals capable of operating out of our comfort zones.

New Integrated Flight Crew Training:
Avelo announced that it is converging its airline-wide Flight Attendant and Pilot training in Orlando. Beginning this summer all training for all Avelo Flight Attendants and Pilots will be facilitated by Avenger Flight Group (AFG) — the world’s largest privately owned commercial aviation training and simulation company. Avelo expects the training center facility to be fully implemented in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Convenient Flight Training Solutions
Previously conducted in separate locations and at times with separate companies, Avelo’s Flight Attendant and Pilot training will now be conducted at AFG’s state-of-the-art Orlando campus. AFG provides advanced flight training solutions to airlines around the world at nearly 20 flight training centers across North America, South America, and Europe. The new AFG-based training will provide opportunities for collaborative learning and training in areas such as leadership, evacuation simulations and customer service.
Avelo currently employs more than 160 Flight Attendants and Pilots and anticipates hiring hundreds more in the years ahead.
A Statement from Avenger:
Avenger Flight Group feels honored to be selected by Avelo Airlines as their exclusive training provider. As our footprint continues to expand worldwide, we are proud to have been chosen by Avelo.
Our success story dates back to 2015 with Mr. Andrew Levy on his previous endeavors and we are certain that we will continue to prove we are the most efficient and trusted partners.
Our Orlando Center
This November, we will open the doors to our newest flight training center in Orlando, Florida. With the space to hold six full flight simulators, the Orlando Training Center will be one of our larger training facilities. In addition to the space for six full flight simulators, the sim bay also has space for several door trainers and the front of the house will have office space and classrooms. Primarily serving Allegiant Air and Spirit Airlines, this training center will be highly convenient for the large number of Orlando-area based pilots needing to fulfill their flight training requirements.
Plans for Future Expansion
The Orlando center will open with one A320 full flight simulator. The second A320 FFS is expected in Q4 of 2022 and the third by Q1 of 2023.
The Orlando Training Center will be AFG’s 13th center worldwide. As we grow, we continue to hold true to our mission of maintaining superior customer satisfaction and ensuring maximum efficiency while doing so.
